Disaster Privileges

When disruptive and/or destructive effects of natural or man-made forces overwhelm the ability of the Medical Center to meet the demand for health care services, UCSF may administer special disaster privileges to volunteer providers.  These vital temporary privileges provide volunteers the necessary resources after the UCSF Medical Center Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) has been implemented and volunteers have been requested by the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS).
