Credentialing and Privileging Services

The Credentialing and Privileging functions of the Medical Staff Office are cornerstone functions of UCSF. These functions contribute toward providing safe patient care and simultaneously mitigate against risk.

As detailed below, our credentialing and privileging personnel perform credentialing for all healthcare practitioners practicing within the UCSF Medical Center, Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital, and our Clinically Integrated Network contract providers.
