History
As articulated in our five-year strategic plan, Vision 2020, UCSF Health will assume greater accountability for delivering a full continuum of affordable, integrated care—from primary to specialty care—for patients who look to UCSF as a provider of comprehensive health care services, partnering with other leading healthcare organizations in the Bay Area to create a high value, regional system of care.
In 2016, UCSF Health created a Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) to align independent physicians and UCSF Health-employed physicians in a collaborative effort to improve patient care and reduce overall health system costs.
UCSF MD Link
To help improve the delivery of patient care, community providers may request a UCSF MD Link account. This tool allows for online referrals, placement of orders for labs, and communicates real-time patient vent notifications.
