Kosal Bo

Vice President of Medical Staff Governance
MEDICAL STAFF OFFICE

Kosal leads the entire Office of Medical Affairs and Governance that performs joint medical staff and credentialing functions for UCSF Health as well as payer health plan enrollment.  He advises senior leadership and the governing body on all medical staff and physician issues for the health system and the clinically-integrated network. 

How long with UCSF: Since 2007

Fun Fact: Kosal is an excellent tennis player.

Camille Borgo

Camille, Borgo, MA
Director, Affiliate Network Credentialing

Camille leads the Medical Staff Strategic Initiatives Unit of the Office of Medical Affairs and Governance, and oversees credentialing functions for UCSF Health clinically integrated partners. She supports Medical Staff initiatives related to clinical affiliations and establishes governance programs for clinically affiliated members and partners.

Shareh Bu

Shareh Bu, CPCS

Shareh serves as a credentialing analyst for the Credentialing Verification Organization Team (CVO).  She is tasked with accepting and processing of initial-appointment and re-appointment credentialing applications on behalf of UCSF’s physicians and advanced health practitioner (AHP). She is also responsible for accepting and processing the credentialing applications on behalf of Clinical Integrated Partner’s physicians and advanced health practitioner (AHP).

Clarita serves as credentialing analyst for the Credentialing Verification Organization Team (CVO).  She processes of initial and re-appointment credentialing applications on behalf of UCSF’s physicians and advanced health practitioner (AHP).

 

Fun Fact: Clarita loves travel, cooking/baking, and collecting antique teacups.

Eric Chen

Jiahao (Eric) Chen, CPCS
Data Systems Analyst

Eric is our in-house Data Systems Analysts who supports our online credentialing application and our internal electronic credentialing processes. He ensures our technical system's integrity and supports the overall operations of the department. 

How long with UCSF: Since 2005

Fun Fact: In addition to maintaining current national certification in credentialing from NAMSS, Eric also maintains ten other certifications in computer programming and IT systems. 

Emily Chu

Senior CVO Analyst

Emily serves as the senior auditor for the Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) team. Her primary duties are reviewing initial and re-credentialing files for UCSF and Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) physicians and advanced health practitioners before final approval by the various credentialing committees.

Mercedes Dominguez

Mercedes (Campos) Dominguez, CPCS, MS-HCA
Interim Director, Credentialing and Privileges Affairs

Mercedes serves as the Interim Director for Credentialing and Privileges.  She is the credentialing liaison between the Medical Center and its departments for incoming providers.  Along with overseeing the Medical Centers, and Langley Porter Psychiatric Hosptial and Clinics (LPPHC) Credentialing Committee, she oversees privilege suspensions, OPPE, FEPPE, Health Plan Enrollment and TJC audits.

Celso Dulay

Finance and Operations Manager

Celso is our resident unicorn wearing many hats. He manages the financial and operational business for the Office of Medical Affairs and Governance. 

How long with UCSF: Since 2011

Fun Fact: Although he loves beaches he would rather engage in long conversation over long walks. He is also a former ballroom instructor and an avid champagne connoisseur.

Nelly Eck

Enrollment Analyst, Health Plan Enrollment (HPE) Team

Nelly serves as an Enrollment Analyst for the Health Plan Enrollment Team.  She enrolls and revalidates new and existing providers into the Government Health Plans, including Medicare, Medi-Cal, CCS and Out of State Medicaid.  Her experience includes working closely and directly with Government payers to ensure proper enrollment and resolving billing issues. 

Departments: Anesthesia, Dental/OMFS, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Family & Community Medicine, Lab Medicine, Medicine, Neurology, & Psychiatry

Andrew Fong

Credentialing Analyst , Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) Team

Andrew serves as a credentialing analyst for the Credentialing Verification Organization Team (CVO).  He accepts and processes any new and/or re-appointment files on behalf of UCSF’s physicians.  He is also tasked with cross-auditing files before they go through the Medical Staff’s layers of approvals.

 

How long with UCSF: Since 2012

Fun Fact: Andrew recently visited Thailand for the first time.

Vania Hoang
